About deviantArt commissions...

They're scummy, encouraging artists to undervalue their art and taking a 20% commission on all sales.

Most of deviantArt's userbase is young and undervalue their art dramatically because they're inexperienced - and to put something like this out, I think, only encourages them to be comfortable with the idea that their art isn't worth much. I mean come on, through the commission system, some artists are only making 2 cents off their work. Two cents!

That's why, starting right now, I'll be browsing the Commissions section of deviantart and donating points to a few random users! A lot of points. Way more than 10. No one should be paid 10 points for a drawing. That's just pennies!

And I'll feature some artists in my journal later!
